A DAY WITH THE TAO AT DAYHAVEN
Saturday, August 14.
Nurture your soul and renew your spirit with the Nature of the Tao in the serene surroundings of Dayhaven, a private home and retreat center on 5 beautiful acres of land on Clearwater Lake just outside of Annandale, Minnesota. We will journey through our day with the 4,000 year old wisdom of the deep feminine as it has been carried in China, only entering the West 130 years ago. We will begin with a short introduction to the Tao as it was initially expressed through the I Ching. We will then focus on The Tao Te Ching, first written down in 81 short wisdom sayings some 2500 years ago by one known as Lao Tzu. Dayhaven is an ideal setting for our immersion in the Tao. Only 60 minutes from the Twin Cities, it offers 400 feet of shoreline, a refurbished former lodge, and extensive lawns with sheltering trees. Lunch is potluck, so bring something to share. We all know something of the Holy Grail, of King Arthur, Guinevere and the Knights of the Round Table. The DaVinci Code has famously added Mary Magdalene to the mix. What is it about this old tale that touches so many of us so profoundly? Joseph Campbell has even said the Grail Quest is the most powerful myth now operating in our western psyche. In this time of chaos, are we once again being called to the Quest? We will explore the best known versions of this powerful story and the major characters. Then we will relate this tale to our own lives and the Sacred Eros calling us to Divine Union. Sept. 18, 10:00 – 5:00. $90. Required for ordination. Open to all.
THE LIFE AND TEACHINGS OF JESUS
From Yeshua of Nazareth to Christ-Sophia
12-Week Class with Rev. Ron Moor Starting Friday Morning, September 24.
Who was Jesus really? What can we know of him with any certainty? What do his words and actions mean beyond their literal simplifications? In this 12-week class we will look at the man known as Jesus and how his life became something extraordinary.
We will read passages from the Bible and from ancient non-biblical texts. We will look at the people around him, including the disciples, his family, and Mary Magdalene. We will consider the “Jesus People” movement that formed and reformed into so many factions. We will consider some of the more intriguing opinions of contemporary writers and teachers about this man known variously as Jesus, Yeshua, Christ, Savior and Redeemer.
This class meets at Spirit United, 3204 Como Ave, Mpls. 10:00 AM - Noon, Sept. 24 to December 17. The fee is $25 per week or $275 if paid by the first week. No class Thanksgiving. 40% of the proceeds will go to Spirit United as a fundraiser. All classes will be recorded with CDs available for any missed classes. THE CALL TO OUR HIGH DESTINY
11 Week Spiritual Growth Class Starting September 27.
This is not the 11th hour, this IS the hour. It is time to live our spiritual beliefs. The question is HOW? The call to consciousness is being heard, and heeded, by growing numbers of concerned people everywhere. In answering our own summons we search for our place, our “calling”. To assist us in understanding where we are, we will explore the 7 obstacles and the 7 accomplishments as related in the Eternal Wisdom Teachings. We will look into the events unfolding so rapidly all around us to gain insights into the emerging patterns of change. Each of us will choose a text to read by a contemporary visionary, to inspire us and to share with the rest of he class. Then we can begin to make our choices, and join those embarked on “The Great Work”. Mon. 7:00-9:30, Sept. 27 to Dec. 13. $30 per class or $300 if paid by first week. Open to all. HEALER PRACTICUM
11 Week Healing Class Starting September 29.
In this advanced class we will work with clients facing severe health challenges. Open only to students with at least 2 prior healing classes with Ron. Wed. evenings Sept. 29 to Dec. 15, 7:00 – 9:30. Required. $330 or $300 if paid at first class, or $30 per week.

An Introduction to Energy Healing

Becoming a minister is to honor a calling and to accept a sacred trust. Within that sacred trust are important duties and obligations. We will explore the lineage, the responsibilities, the ethics, and the spiritual significance of this state. This is also a “how to” on the rituals of ministry such as marriage, funerals, and christenings. Includes discussion, handouts and experiential exercises. Sat., Oct. 23, 10:00–5:00. $90. Required

As we come to end of autumn we will gather to deepen our capacity to serve those who are coming to the end of their physical life. Serving someone in this time can be quite challenging and can take us into places that are deeply disturbing as well as profoundly uplifting. We will explore what we can do as healers to assist the dying and their loved ones. We will examine how energy work can help as well as our role in the clients transition process. We all know there are more than 5 senses. The deeper wisdom teaches of 12 senses. This day will be an introduction into our 12 senses, including the signs of the zodiac they are aligned with. Many of us already use most of these senses, just with little conscious awareness. We will gently open the doors of perception a little wider with information, discussion, and experiential exercises. This on-going Wednesday morning gathering is to read, dialog, and meditate on the profound wisdom found in the 2500 year old text of Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching. These 81 short, poetic sayings have offered relief, gentle guidance, and a pathway to inner peace for countless millions. Each week we will read one of the sayings and follow the path it offers deeper into the Mystery.

Building Our Spiritual Foundations
The Spiritual Foundations program is designed to engage our soul and illumine our hearts. It is composed of 4 highly experiential classes of 11 weeks each. This comprehensive movement will take us from our beginnings in the cradle of nature through the phases of conscious development, never forgetting where we came from. With greater wholeness we can better open to the emerging translucent consciousness.
Our model is the ancient mystery school, updated with modern scholarship and research, based on 25 years of Ron's personal questing and experience. We will carefully build one step at a time, week by week, through the 44 weeks. We will build our temple on solid ground so that we might reach higher into the cosmos.
We will weave together lecture, discussion, guided meditation, sacred crafts, multimedia presentations, ritual, dream work, and physical breath and movement exercises. Also available are optional Saturday intensives as well as seasonal one day "on the land" retreats.
Our goal is to gain enough individual insight, strength, substance and awareness to enhance our capacity to do the "Great Work" of personal and planetary transformation, the work many of us were called here to do.
While designed to be taken sequentially, new students may enter at the start of each quarter, space permitting. Building Our Spiritual Foundations is required for all new students choosing to complete the Minister of Healing Program. The classes:
SPIRITUAL FOUNDATIONS I - Claiming Our Shamanic Legacy. Exploring shamanic spirituality and the origins of ritual and myth. The Great Mother of the hunter and gather cultures, doing sacred craft, connecting with our animal powers, finding our place in the great circle of creation.
SPIRITUAL FOUNDATIONS II - The Temple Mysteries of the Great Goddess. Moving from ritual into myth as we explore the mythic dimensions of our own lives. Becoming more conscious of our symbolic center and opening to psychic energy. Deepening our understanding of soul. Gaining new insights into the move from Great Mother to God the Father and redressing the imbalance. Becoming a more fully integrated being.

Reverend Ronald E. Moor has been a healer and teacher since 1981 working with clients and students across the country. An ordained minister, he studied for eight years with noted healer Rosalyn Bruyere, founder of the internationally known Healing Light Center Church and Seminary in California. His last 3 years there he served as the church pastor. He has also studied extensively with Carl Rogers at the Center For The Studies of The Person, at Manly P. Hall's Philosophical Research Society and with Roger Weir at The Whirling Rainbow Institute. In 1989 Ron moved to Minneapolis and founded the Center for Wholeness. In Minnesota he served 4 years as Associate Pastor of Lake Harriet Community Church and was twice Healer in Residence at the International Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship annual conference. Ron has been a provider at Pathways since 1989 and is a current member and past president of their board of directors. He currently serves as lead minister at Spirit United Interfaith Church. He lives in the Minneapolis area with his wife (artist Donna Webb) and their two sons.
